An eclipse's sign is the same for everyone. What determines its meaning for you is which house it falls in your own chart.
An eclipse occurs when the Sun, Moon, and Earth align. Its date and the exact degree of the sign it falls in are calculated—and this information is the same for everyone on the planet.

When a newspaper column says "Eclipse in Aries," that is only half the information. If Aries is your 10th house, it speaks of your career; if it's your 4th house, it speaks of your home.
The Type of Eclipse
Spatyom does not claim whether an eclipse is total, partial, or annular. To determine that, one needs to know the Moon's ecliptic latitude with high precision, and our abbreviated series lacks that precision. In astrology, what matters is which sign and degree the eclipse falls in, and that is given exactly.
We prefer not to write something we don't know rather than pretending we do.
