What Is Black Moon Lilith?

The Moon's orbit around Earth is not a perfect circle but an ellipse. Each month the Moon passes once through the point closest to Earth (perigee) and once through the farthest point (apogee). Black Moon Lilith is the position of this farthest end of the Moon's orbit on the zodiac; in charts it is shown with the ⚸ glyph, a crescent above a cross.
